Research Objectives/Areas of Interest:

  1. Study of antifungal activity of newer drugs against common nosocomial, as well as rare and emerging fungi.
  2. Study of the epidemiology and diagnosis of fungal colonization and infection in burn patients.
  3. Study of the operating characteristics of currently available diagnostic systems in the diagnosis of fungal infections.
